It is Halloween season again and the amazing, creative Boy Scouts in southeastern lower Michigan were at it again. Camping and scaring.
Well, Eoin took his mom to Camp Munhacke on Saturday, October 27, 2018 for the haunted woods. Eoin was brave at the welcome table. The Scoutmaster at the table asked, ” would you like to take a ‘no-scare’ flag?” Eoin says, “No, I’m good.”
Well it’s a good thing that Boy Scouts know and follow the Scout Law. At each of the displays the greeters asked despite not seeing the ‘no-scare’ flag. I must say that these are some very creative young men. There were many creepy clowns lurking in dark corners, but no two haunts were exactly alike.
Eoin especially enjoyed the Chelsea MI Boy Scouts presentation of Jurassic Park.
Thank you Boy Scouts for another AMAZING family friendly event. At the end of the hike we were treated to coffee, punch, cookies and popcorn. They also had creepy pumpkins carved for a feast for our eyes and creepy crafts to complete and take home. Haunted Woods at Camp Munhacke is surely an event not to be missed.
